I think it's rude and disrespectful for someone to make people look at their art by spamming them with notes with every new deviation that gets put up on dA.
Don't do it with me, please. I don't like it at all.
This is also for all the people who are also annoyed by this too.
If you can't read the words on the stamp, they say: "Don't use notes to force me to look at your art. That's rude and disrespectful."
Then why the heck did they put up a "Share this" function? My prob is that whenever I send them, they usually send the comments back by note as well...which means it doesn't add to my totals on the actual pieces.
Ah well.

Well, it's more like when someone new starts watching you and then all of a sudden and without warning they start sending you notes wanting you to look at the new deviations that they had just put up. And they have not talked to you since they started watching you and you don't know that much about them.
I don't like getting these notes, especially if they're from complete strangers that don't even talk to me. I don't know them, so what is it that they want from me? It's spam in my book.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
